Adrian’s beautiful Chocolate Pups

Precious 5 week old English Labs

Can you believe Adrian’s puppies are already almost 5 weeks old?! These beauties are ready to go home February 10th, and there are a couple of spots available. Let me know soon if you’re interested!

Adrian is our lady-like English Lab mama. Her demeanor is all sugar – sweet, eager to please, calm. Her coat is a gorgeous dark brown with warm tones and her face can melt the hardest of hearts. Have you seen the old Peter Pan Disney cartoon? Her disposition reminds us so much of Nana, the dog watching over the Darling children. She “mamas” all the kids and puppies in our home and melts the heart.

Small Chocolate Labrador
Adrian, our loving and loyal girl

Francisco is the sire of this litter and he is EVERYTHING a chocolate labrador should be. Thick, otter tail… broad chest and thick body… wide face… strong and athletic… loyal to the max… occasionally does something silly enough to make you spit your drink out.

Fransisco – our Kingly Sire

But… let’s be honest… you subscribe to this blog for cute pictures of puppies. So, I’ll get on with it. Here are Adrian’s Amazing males. (Girls will follow tomorrow!)

We expect these amazing males to be 70-80 pounds full grown, with excellent dispositions and top health.

  • Thoughts on training

There are as many different thoughts on training techniques as there are trainers and wading through them can be intense! But which way is best? I say the answer is, within reason, whichever one you will actually do. Success comes from consistency. Our dog Ginger, who is close to 8 years old now, is affectionately…

  • Getting Ready

Veterinary appointments. Scheduling breeding times. Chatting with people and families looking for their new puppy. Making sure that Molly gets that extra bit of attention she’s hungry for while in heat. This is what fills our days over here. • Puppy’s first bath

our puppies hit their 6 week birthday and we celebrated by playing outside in what snow was left over. really, it was more mud than snow. but they romped and played and had a ball. Puppies, like children, often find the “non-toy” items more interesting than the toys you buy them! My husband and I have often wondered if a good box would be just as appealing as the new toy. But, we give in, and buy the toys anyway. Who wants to play with a chew toy when I…
