What is the Kindred Pup difference?
If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then a video is worth 1,000,000 right? We put together this very hobbyist-level video of this past week to try to show you what our outdoor time consists of with our puppies. We really believe that on top of excellent genetic lines, the care and attention we give to our puppies is the Kindred Pup Difference. English Labrador retrievers are beautiful and wonderful pets, and we are so thankful to do what we do and to have learned what we’ve learned.
You’ve heard me talk about the importance of confidence in a pup for their future life; well, here is a lot of how we do it. Introduced to scooters? Check. Varying types of ground? Check. Toddlers? Noise? Water? Check, check, check. We even work on Manding while they are here. (You will see this a little bit in the video.)
What is Manding? It is where you teach a puppy to sit nicely and patiently without jumping or whining for what they want. It is a life-saver as a breeder and they learn it so quickly and it’s so cute that we hope our families keep up the practice! There is no “punishment”, per se, for not Manding. You simply don’t get the treat.
