This litter has been such a breeze, you guys. I just can’t believe how wonderful they’ve been – easy, relatively quiet, playful but not aggressive. If I had the room I may just have kept all of these pups! I have to tell you that we all shed a few tears when puppies head home. Hello everyone! I am so sorry for the long silence. And what a crazy time it’s been. First of all, I hope that everyone reading this, and especially our Kindred Pup families have stayed healthy during this time. Oh, you guys. The pups are a week old now, can you believe it? I can’t. And what a week it has been! Just like Molly, their fur is SO SOFT already, and they all have a beautiful creamy color. All 5 pups are gaining weight, getting stronger and able to move themselves all about their whelping pen. The children and I have been reading (I should say re-reading) one of our favorite set of books and, because of that, decided to name the pups accordingly. Our sweet Molly looks as if nature has begun to take its course! Molly’s heat has begun, and now it’s just a countdown until the sweet chirps and squeaks of little pups! We will be bringing her down for her “date” with Karen at Heatherdowns Labradors in about two weeks! We could NOT be happier. We are excited to see if she will prefer Manny or Bronxx this time; any guesses?
