More information will be forthcoming as pregnancies are confirmed and births occur, but for now, I thought I’d share some of our very favorite pics of our past pups…. just so you can experience the wonder that is English Labrador…

Our picks will begin around 6 weeks of age, once we feel we have a good assessment on their personalities. These beautiful Labradors are just as amazing as their parents! “Available Black Labrador Puppy”?!?! I have NEVER typed those words before. I cannot believe this girl is still available. A New Puppy Coming Home!
Jump to contents: Are you one of the many people with a new puppy coming home this summer? We have multiple Kindred Pup litters heading home in this part of the year! Are you ready? Obviously – you got a puppy from a GREAT breeder, who showed the puppy lots of love and attention. We know without a doubt that the first 8 weeks of life for a puppy sets the stage for their demeanor for their whole lives. We’ve all seen dogs who “act out” – some by being overly timid and afraid of new things, others by lashing out with over aggression. I believe most of these behaviors…

What is the Kindred Pup difference?
If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then a video is worth 1,000,000 right? We put together this very hobbyist-level video of this past week to try to show you what our outdoor time consists of with our puppies. We really believe that on top of excellent genetic lines, the care and attention we give to our puppies is the Kindred Pup Difference. English Labrador retrievers are beautiful and wonderful pets, and we are so thankful to do what we do and to have learned what we’ve learned. You’ve heard me talk about the importance of confidence in a pup for their future life; well, here is a lot of…

Hip and Elbow Dysplasia in your Labrador
Jump to contents: Hip and Elbow Dysplasia is believed to be the greatest single orthopedic risk to retrievers. It causes pain, lack of motion, depression and eventually, immobility. So, what can you do about it? As a breeder, one of the most important things that I can understand is the disease and health risks of my breed – The Amazing Labrador retriever. While I do not claim to be a veterinarian, nor does my advice and insight here in any way intend to erase the need for a good veterinarian, I will pass along what I have learned and hope that it is helpful to you. Hip and Elbow Dysplasia…
